Adult Ministries
Bible Study Opportunities for Adults
On Sunday mornings at 9:45, our adults gather for coffee, bagels and fellowship time in the church parlor. At 10 am, we move into our Bible study classes. Here’s a schedule of current and upcoming classes:
“Authentic Discipleship and the Life of Josiahâ (Beginning September 2008)
This ongoing class will have a different topic every month. This month the focus will be on how the life of Josiah challenges our own understanding of discipleship.
“Holy Boldness” by Paul Dekar (Beginning September thru October 26th)
This book seeks to redefine evangelism in a culture where it has become defined by coercion and an anti-cultural sentiment. Join us as we gain a new perspective and appreciation for our responsibility to share the gospel.
“Understanding Salvation” (Beginning Sept. 21-October 26)
This new class option is designed for parents of young children and will take a closer look at what scripture teaches about salvation, perhaps challenging some of our traditional understandings. This series will be facilitated by our pastor, Robert Walker. Classes and nursery are available for children.
