Neighborhood Picnic!
August 3, 2009
Neighborhoods in and around Atlanta often struggle to form any real sense of community. Because people frequently relocate to our area for short-term work assignments and schooling, neighborhoods often undergo quick transitions as people move in and out. However, the transitory nature of our community does not negate the need and importance of being a part of a community – a place where we know our neighbors, feel connected to one another and share life together. This Sunday from 4-6 pm, you are invited to join us for our neighborhood picnic. This will be a great opportunity to get to know others in our community. There will be food, games, back to school supply giveaways, and information about our English classes and other church minsitries. As our church strives to build community in our neighborhood, we hope that you will consider joining us for this time of fun together.
