Holy Week at Peachtree

Come join the Peachtree family as we journey through the final week of Lent and prepare for Easter Sunday. On Thursday, April 9th we will gather for worship at 7:00 pm to participate in a Maundy Thursday service emphasizing Jesus’ washing of the disciples’ feet, the Last Supper and Jesus’ prayer in the garden. On Friday at 7:00 pm we will experience a choral Tenebrae service in which the reality of Christ’s crucifixion will be conveyed through song and the reading of scripture. creep online These services are observed in order to provide a holistic understanding and worship experience of Christ’s message and prepare participants for the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter morning. Worship on Easter Sunday will begin at 11:00 am preceded by Bible study at 9:45 am for all ages.

Part of Peachtree’s celebration of Easter includes our annual Easter Festival.

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, April 11th from 10:00 am until noon at the church. Children will enjoy age appropriate egg hunts, spring themed games, crafts and inflatable play areas. There will be hot dog plates for sale along with free coffee and Great Harvest bread. Bring your children for a morning of fun and enjoy fellowship with members of the Peachtree community and the larger neighborhood.
