New Sunday Morning Bible Study
July 21, 2008
As we seek to grow into the church God desires for us to be we engage in many enriching activities. As a body of believers we grow spiritually through the community experiences of worship, fellowship and service. Another important avenue for spiritual growth and community building is the shared experience of study and devotion. As part of our continually expanding family and children’s group we are initiating a Sunday morning Bible study group for the parents of young children. The class’ target group is those parents that have children from infancy through the completion of middle school. It will be the intention of the class to foster spiritual growth through study, fellowship, service and worship. The new class will begin on August 10th. The class will initially participate in a six week series from ethicsdaily.com entitled “Genesis: The Creation of Relationships.” It is our desire that this class will be the foundation for relationships that both strengthen and expand the family ministries of Peachtree. There will be engaging opportunities for children of all ages during the Sunday school hour so that Peachtree’s children encounter positive faith building experiences while parents are free to commit to the new class.
I am excited about the possibilities that await Peachtree and its families as a result of this class. I hope that this class and its community of parents will be a valuable addition to Peachtree’s ministry and witness.
